Popcorn Ceiling Roll-On - 2g
LITEX’S POPCORN ROLL-ON is a ready-to-use waterbased paste for application on properly prepared interior ceilings such as primed drywall. The product is specially formulated with hard particles making for easier roll-on application to achieve a simulated spray-on “popcorn ceiling” texture effect. The finished coating will hide small surface imperfections. Painting is not necessary. VOC < 50 g/L
Preparation: The area to be coated must be clean and free of any loose crumbly texture and powdery material. A good quality latex primer is recommended prior to application of Litex’s Popcorn Roll-On. If a water damage or fire stain exists, priming with a shellac-based primer to prevent stain bleed through is always recommended.
Mixing: Stir contents. If material appears too dry, add up to 1 pint of water until material easily pours into paint tray. TIP – Some rollers can be plunged directly into the pail for ease of application.
Application: Use a quality 3/4” nap roller to apply the material working from the outside in. TIP – Some rollers should be lightly dampened to enable absorption/pick-up of the texture material. Use a brush or sponge brush for edges and corners. TIP - For an even application, back roll with a texture loop roller. The particles can be moved around to match the pattern of the original ceiling texture. Allow for ample air circulation to allow the material to dry (within 24 to 48 hours). Do not apply when ambient or surface temperature is below 50F or above 90F.
Coverage Rate: Up to 120 sq. ft. per pail.
